Boxwood slide

Boxwood bottlenecks (buxus sempervirens).

Very resistant to wear and tear, no, they will not be filed by the ropes in an hour, as some might believe!

When you slide correctly, the pressure exerted by the bottleneck on the strings is very light, you don’t fret like with the fingers, it looks more like a caress, the up and down movements on the strings, combined with the tilting movements even tend to polish the boxwood.
