Boxwood and brass slides

Slides which are weighted with a 2mm brass tube. Truly surprising sustain, more than with the copper rods version.

Boxwood brings a unique sound color, softness and roundness, it nevertheless provides a little less sustain than the usual materials. The addition of a thick brass tube makes it much heavier, depending on the size the weight varies between 60 and nearly 100g, the sustain is greatly increased!

The sound also changes from that of a plain boxwood slide, or one weighted with copper rods in the thickness of the wood. On the other hand, you no longer have the warm contact of boxwood inside.
